The North side of this Greenwich Avenue mainstay features traditional barbeque cooking at the table, which is a big hit with the bigger kids. Some of the younger kids can be scared, however.
The South side offers sunken tables (must remove shoes, in the Japanese style) and a fish pond inhabited by goldfish the size of a 3-year old's forearm.
Food is very good. Kids like the "kid's chopsticks." Not many alternatives for kids (or adults) who don't like sushi or tempura, although the chicken teriyaki is quite good.
"Reservations are a must." Some warn, "Don't go if you have a headache or need a quiet evening out!"
*They also accept Diners Club as a form of payment.
